The dogmatic basis of Christianity - a short formula of the subject of religion in the Eastern Christians. The canonic "symbol of creed" was formulated for the first time at the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea in 325, and fully defined at the Second Ecumenical Council of Constantinople in 381. It has been preserved until now in this Nicaea-Constantinople version.
